The TN FOP Charitable Foundation was formed in 2009. The purpose of this Foundation is to assist the Tennessee State Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police in funding all charitable programs. The Foundation is a 501©(3) non-profit organization so all donations are tax deductible. The Foundation does raise some of it's funds by professional phone solicitations through Corporations For Character. Foundation Programs:

-BODY ARMOR GRANT PROGRAM; this is a program designed to provide new body armor to law enforcement officers in Tennessee who work for an agency that does not provide body armor, or replace outdated body armor. This grant is available to all law enforcement officers in Tennessee.

-MEMBERS' DEATH BENEFITS; this is a program that provides an in the line of duty death benefit to families of members who have given their life in the line of duty. It also provides a death benefit to families of members who have died of natural causes. These death benefits are available to TN FOP members only.

-FALLEN OFFICERS’ MEMORIAL; this is an annual memorial service where we honor those law enforcement officers in Tennessee who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to their community. Each year we add the names of Tennessee officers killed in the line of duty to the Memorial Wall in Nashville TN. Funding for this ceremony, as well as maintenance of the memorial wall itself, is provided by the Foundation.

 

-TRAINING;  this program helps by providing funding to off set the cost of providing addition training for TN FOP members.
